Episode 20 – WEBSITE PLATFORMS. Choosing the perfect website platform for your business is essential.
Erin is ready to build her website and needs help selecting the best platform for her business.
I want to create a website, and I know you love Squarespace… but is it a good option for me? I sell 1:1 coaching sessions for businesswomen who want to scale their business with Facebook Ads, and I want to launch my first online course next year. Please help!
Here is what you can do.
Look at all your options
Before you design your website, I recommend you look at the top website builder platforms to get more information on each. I love to work with Squarespace, but there are so many other platforms, and if they fit your needs, go for it!
Start by identifying your goals. You can choose GoDaddy Website Builder, Shopify, Wix, WordPress, or Showit, to name a few. For someone selling many products, Shopify is a great option.
On the other hand, if your goal is to advertise your services, I suggest you look at different possibilities and compare their features, functionality, and price. Then, pick the website platform builder best suited to your needs.
Take a course or watch some tutorials
Once you’ve selected your website platform, look at some tutorials or buy a course to learn how to build your website. It will save you so much time. Our Website Factory program is developed to help women with zero tech skills design and launch their websites in a few days.
Another tip: You must also use online course platforms such as Teachable, Thinkific, or Kajabi. Use a platform specialized in online courses to develop your course and add a link on your website to your course login.
Remember, your website must reflect your personality and your expertise. The goal is to launch as soon as possible to start generating revenues. You can always go back and tweak your website later.
