Call-to-action that converts

Call-to-action that converts

Hey! To help you get your questions answered quickly, I created this new mini-post series about Squarespace and Biz tips. Blogs in the mini-series will be shorter and sometimes related to a Freebie to help you get some answers to your questions.

I received a question about CTA’s (call-to-action) and which one will convert better.

Remember, the best CTA’s are brief, create urgency, and are personalized to your goals.

But don’t forget to utilize contrasting colors and white space and make your CTA’s into a button.

Here are a few examples of the types of CTAs you might use for your website:

First, most websites have a SIGN-IN button! You can customize your CTA by saying SIGN-IN FOR FREE or LET’S SIGN-IN NOW! You want to invite your audience to sign up for a free trial, an online course, or even one of your lead magnets.

Subscribe

This CTA is common to develop a relationship. You want the subscriber to receive your weekly content via your Newsletter. You can customize this CTA with SUBSCRIBE NOW or SUBSCRIBE TO GET FREE OUR WEEKLY TIPS! Then, SUBSCRIBE can be a great call to action on your website.

Get started

This CTA can drive various behaviors from your audience. Start with a new product or service, and book a free call. Your goal is to get them started with your offering. Again, you can customize this CTA with START NOW or START FOR FREE!

Join

This CTA call drives your audience to join your email list and stay updated with our latest template releases, tips, specials, and freebies. You can use JOIN NOW, JOIN FOR FREE, or LET’S JOIN to drive your audience on your list.

Try for free

If your business has a free trial offer, it allows people to demo a product before deciding if it’s worth the cost. I love to give access to a FREE sneak peek of my program!

Learn more

This CTA gives more information, so they’re prepared to buy something. You can use this CTA on your About page to introduce yourself or give access to FREE tools or resources.

To help you identify what’s effective and what’s not, you must test it with your audience and adjust if needed!

And you, what about the CTA’s on your website?!

Let me know about it; I’d love to see it!
