Course platforms

Hey! To help you get your questions answered quickly, I created this new mini-post series all about Squarespace and Biz tips. Blogs in the mini-series will be shorter and sometimes related to a Freebie to help you get some answers to your questions.

Today, let’s talk about Online Courses and the hosting platform you can use to offer them. Some have asked if they can offer their courses directly on Squarespace. The answer is yes; you can create pages, insert the videos and your content and give access to your course pages via a password. However, this is not the best option.

Here are three different applications to host your online course:

Kajabi

A platform to build, market, and sell your online course, membership site, or coaching program.

The Basic Plan starts at $119, but there are no transaction fees. Unlimited Landing Pages and Marketing Emails, and the Basic Plan is for 10,000 contacts and 1,000 active members.

Teachable

An easy-to-use online course creation platform, you can create courses without ever having to worry about tech, hosting, design, or marketing integrations.

The basic plan starts at $29 + 5% transaction fees – for Unlimited students.

Thinkific

An all-in-one platform makes it easy to share your knowledge, grow your audience, and scale the business you already love.

They have a FREE plan to get you started for limited courses but unlimited students.

When I started, I had to decide which hosting platform to use… before I even knew if I was going to generate any income or not. I know the price can be scary when deciding which course hosting platform you will use.

For my part, I chose Kajabi after attending Amy Porterfield’s Digital Course Academy.

I love the design, but especially the features offered by the platform. I no longer need any other applications; I can sell, offer the course, build my mailing list, and send my emails — incredible time savings for me. Plus, whenever I have a question, I can chat live with a member of their team who helps me out whenever I need it.

What about you? Are you planning to launch your online course soon? Which platform will you use? Comment below; I can’t wait to discover what your course will be about.
