I often get questions about why and how I give back through my business. Maybe you are thinking of ways to give back as an entrepreneur. If you’re like me, you want to do more and make a difference year-round through your business.

Here are some ways that you can give back:

Donate to a Cause

Which cause means something to you? Find an organization that supports your passionate cause and find out how to donate to it. You can do this as a percentage of your sales or a set monthly amount.

Donate Your Time

You have skills that lots of organizations can use, discover how you can put your knowledge and expertise to work for something you’re passionate about.

Offer a Scholarship

You can offer a scholarship to one of your online courses or services if you feel you can’t give money but want to help people who would like to hire you.

Volunteer

Not every opportunity to give back will involve your specific skills – and that’s okay. Volunteering in your community is always a great way to give back, even if you only have a few hours a month.

In my case, I’ve donated my knowledge to non-profits, including Mission Safe, to help them raise funds. Find a way that works for your life and business.
