How to create a Blog

Hey! To help you get your questions answered quickly, I created this new mini-post series all about Squarespace and Biz tips. Blogs in the mini-series will be shorter and sometimes related to a Freebie to help you get some answers to your questions. Ready to learn how to create a Blog?

So today, let’s discuss creating a Blog in 5 easy steps.

I often received questions related to my Blog and how I started. Want to learn how to start a blog but not sure where to begin? Here are five easy steps to start your Blog.

Determine your WHAT and WHY

What do you hope to accomplish through blogging? Why do you want to start a blog? What do you want to write about? Why is your message important?

Pick your blog name

Find an available URL and get it all set up. Then it would be best if you told people where to find it.

Set-Up

Set up a self-hosted Blog on Squarespace (you can use their 14-day free trial).

Create a structure

Decide when you are going to post. Create a schedule and stick to it. Each week or each month?

Write

Now it’s time to write your content. Ask your audience for feedback, and keep creating content to establish credibility.

Remember, consistency is the key to success!

Are you blogging? Comments below and share the link for your Blog; I’d love to read it.
