Believe it or not, 2024 has finally come to an end! As I step into 2025, it’s time to plan ahead and focus. Setting clear, achievable goals and managing my time effectively will be essential to make the most of this year. By prioritizing tasks and maintaining a balanced schedule, I aim to enhance productivity and personal growth. Curious about my 2025 “Ins and Outs” list?
What’s In for ME in 2025?
Reading One New Book Each Week
Dedicating time to read not only expands knowledge, but also provides a mental escape, enriching our perspectives and stimulating creativity. My first book of 2025 is by Raphaëlle Giordano.
If you’re not familiar with her work, consider reading her novel “Your Second Life Begins When You Realize You Only Have One.” This bestselling French novel tells the story of Camille, a Parisian woman who embarks on a journey to find lasting joy and fulfillment. Guided by a “routinologist” named Claude, she learns to transform her life one step at a time.
Traveling More Often
Exploring new destinations broadens horizons and fosters a deeper understanding of diverse cultures, contributing to personal growth and lifelong memories. I have already booked a trip to London and Switzerland for 2025.
Slowly Decluttering Every Room
A gradual approach to decluttering promotes a serene living environment, reducing stress and enhancing focus by eliminating unnecessary distractions. I plan to start with my office — a small space in our home where I love recording podcasts, writing blogs, and conducting one-on-one coaching Zoom calls.
Resting Without Guilt
Prioritizing rest acknowledges its essential role in overall health, allowing for rejuvenation and improved productivity without the burden of guilt. I commit to not working on weekends!
Free Time on the Calendar
Intentionally scheduling free time encourages spontaneity and self-care, providing opportunities to engage in activities that bring joy and relaxation. Regular treatments like lymphatic drainage massages can enhance overall well-being by reducing stress and promoting better health so I’ve scheduled a monthly massage at the spa to prioritize self-care and relaxation.
Spending Time at the Cottage
Retreating to a cottage or similar getaway offers a peaceful respite from daily demands, fostering a connection with nature and promoting mental well-being. From April through October, I’ll spend my time at the cottage, working while looking at the lake.
What’s Out for ME in 2025?
Replying to Clients the Second They Send Emails
Constantly responding immediately to communications can lead to burnout. Setting boundaries ensures a balanced workflow and personal time. I’m setting clear boundaries with email responses to avoid burnout. Instead of replying instantly, I’ll schedule dedicated time blocks for client communication, ensuring a balanced workflow while protecting my personal time.
Trying to Do Everything
Overcommitting dilutes effectiveness and increases stress. Focusing on priorities and delegating tasks fosters efficiency and well-being. I focus on my priorities and delegate tasks effectively. Instead of stretching myself too thin, I create a structured plan that allows me to work efficiently and reduce stress.
Burning Out for Clients
Sacrificing personal health for client demands is unsustainable. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance ensures long-term success and satisfaction. I protect my well-being by setting firm limits on workload and availability = no more work on weekends!
Hosting Weekly Mastermind Sessions
While collaboration is valuable, over-scheduling such sessions can be draining. Balancing weekly mastermind sessions with my one-on-one clients and M&A transactions became overwhelming. To better serve more women, I’m currently developing a membership – a hub for training, community and teaching to create highly profitable, efficient businesses, without expanding their team more than needed.
Transitioning from a Mastermind to a Membership is a strategic way to scale and manage workload effectively. By offering structured monthly group sessions into the membership, I can provide valuable guidance to a broader audience without compromising the quality of support.
Skipping Breakfast
Neglecting the first meal of the day can affect energy levels and metabolism. Prioritizing a nutritious breakfast supports overall health and daily performance. I will make breakfast a non-negotiable part of my routine, fueling my body with the nutrients it needs to sustain energy and productivity throughout the day.
Multitasking
Juggling multiple tasks often reduces quality and increases errors. Embracing single-tasking enhances focus and productivity. I will work with full focus on one task at a time, eliminating distractions to produce higher-quality results. By embracing single-tasking, I improve my efficiency and reduce errors in my work.
By aligning my habits with these “Ins” and consciously moving away from the “Outs,” we can cultivate a lifestyle that promotes balance, fulfillment, and well-being in 2025!
